Evelina Children’s hospital

 The Floridians   (190cm x 110cm x 45cm)

The project for the “ Evelina Children’s hospital” is now in place.

Frederic Lanovsky's exhibitions around the world show his popularity. From France to the exclusive Principality of Monaco, from England to the US, where he was awarded 2 prizes through the Artist’s guild of the Boca Raton Museum of Art in 2006.

Frederic does not go unnoticed. He touched the hearts of several patients at the Evelina Children’s Hospital in downtown London where he installed a group of 5 sculptures. The project was a special request from the Director of Art and Heritage, the doctors and the children themselves to have the grand entrance graced with his work.

Frederic Lanovsky embraced the idea by creating what he entitled « Children of the World ».

It was a great adventure not to mention that the hospital was built by the very well known British architect Mr. Hopkins.A modern building of an impressive design and technology. A state of the art medical facility dedicated to the well being of children.A tremendous reward came with all this; her Royal Highness the Princess Anne inaugurated Frederic’s art on June 15th, 2006 for the grand opening of the hospital.

As an artist, Frederic Lanovsky wishes that the fun personality of his sculptures will bring joy, happiness, love, hope and a ray of sunshine to the children.

The Floridians

“The Floridians” were specially commissioned by the Foundation for Fighting Blindness.

The sculptures were donated by the artist, Frederic Lanovsky. They were auctioned off during the Humanitarian Award Dinner which took place at Cipriani’s in New York on June 7 th , 2007 .

All the proceeds went to this wonderful cause. This fundraiser was a great success.

Frederic Lanovsky is familiar and very fond of charity work.

The Charity Event

The Charity Event we had chosen for 2008 was children orientated.

Frederic Lanovsky presented the sculpture showed on this page to the Gulf Stream School located in Gulf Stream, Florida.

“Aglae” is her name and was displayed for auction on February 9th, 2008 during the “Shake, Rattle & Roll” Charity Event and Dinner held at the school.

We hope “Aglae” will be a great success just like the sculptures “ The Floridians” were last year at the Humanitarian Dinner for the Foundation for Fighting Blindness held at ” Cipriani’s” in New York City.

Frederic believes that philanthropy is an important part of his life and as an artist, he tries to make a difference by donating one sculpture a year to Charity, Humanitarian organizations or Foundations of his choice.

Lights and lamps

The lights and lamps of Frederic Lanovsky are another fun way of his personality to look at contemporary art.

These particular pieces are made from resin and fiberglass and rather lightweight.

He sculpts and molds their different shapes by hand in order to obtain that translucent effect the lights are turned on.

Once again his colors are unique which creates a great atmosphere in a room.

The ambiance of his lamps will often be of a saffron glow. it is a lovely game of lights with a lot of transparency.

Frederic Lanovsky’s lamps and sculptures are all about harmony with a hint of genius.
